Shipping / Insurance

Mezze can provide a complete shipping and insured solution if required by the client. We only use ‘A’ rated insurance carriers and as far as geographically possible The Packing, Art Handling and Crating Information Network of shippers. What is Mezze?

Mezze sells original contemporary art by artists living in or originating from the Middle East, Persian Gulf, and Asia through an online gallery and events. Mezze’s mission is to promote emerging artists from these regions at affordable prices to individual collectors, designers, architects and art consultants.

What is Mezze’s Submission Policy?

Artists who would like to have their work sold by Mezze should send 15-20 slides of their original art works to Mezze along with an artist’s statement to the following address:

Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your slides returned to you. Mezze is not responsible for missing or damaged slides.

How do I purchase art work from Mezze?

You may purchase art work from Mezze by contacting liz.roy@mezzeart.com or call 646-427-4992. Art may also be purchased by cash, wire transfer, cashiers check or credit card at any Mezze event.

What if art is damaged during shipping?

If you can determine on arrival if the art that it is damaged, or if you discover it is damaged after opening the package, contact Mezze immediately. Mezze is not responsible for art works damaged during unpacking.

Does Mezze ship internationally?

Mezze does ship internationally, but any border or custom taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser/buyer. For more information please contact us at liz.roy@mezzeart.com or call 646-427-4992.

What is Mezze’s return policy?

All sales are final.

How long will it take me to receive my purchase?

Shipping times depend on the locations to which shipment is being sent. Mezze will contact you with information on estimated arrival dates and time on the completion of your purchase. In general shipments within the US should take a between (2-5) business days, while international shipping times may be longer. If art works purchased are currently included in an exhibition, purchasers will need to wait until the end of the exhibition to have the art work shipped to them.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Purchasers requesting delivery within the State of New York agree to pay all applicable sales tax due on the sale of the Artwork, Product(s) and/or Service(s). Effective June 1, 2003, NYS and NYC sales tax rate have changed to a combined NYC rate of 8.375%.
